Doctor of Social Work - The Doctor of Social Work (DSW) is an academic degree for experienced social work practitioners who wish to further their careers by gaining training in advanced practice, research and/or policy analysis. Social research - Social research refers to research conducted by social scientists (primarily within sociology, but also within other disciplines such as social policy, human geography, social anthropology and education).
