The descriptions are keyed to 374 full-color photographs of the animals as they appear in their native habitats, often displaying characteristic behavior. The National Audubon Society Field Guides are the first to be organized with a visual key. Species are grouped according to type, shape, type of mammal and size, type of mammal and keyed with helpful thumb-tab silhouettes to make identification quick type of mammal and easy. A second key permits the reader to identify animals by their tracks. The descriptive text covers the 11 orders of land mammals present in North America north of Mexico, type of mammal and includes range maps, black-and-white illustrations, type of mammal and track drawings. A state-by-state range guide enables the user to make quick identification of small mammals by geographic location.

DNA Topoisomerases in Cancer Therapy by Toshiwo Andoh,

DNA Topoisomerases in Cancer Therapy by Toshiwo Andoh,
This volume commemorates the 30th anniversary of the discoveryin 1971 of the first DNA topoisomerases, i.e topoisomerase I in "E.coli," then provisionally named omega' protein, by the pioneeringwork of Jim Wang at Harvard University, who has contributed an articleto this volume: Reflections on an accidental discovery' of theenzyme. Many kinds of topoisomerase have since been found from type Ithrough to type VI in a variety of organisms ranging from viruses tohigher eukaryote mammals. The wide distribution of enzymes in variousforms of life implies that the DNA topoisomerase is essential forlife. In the mid 80's type I type of mammal and II enzymes were found to be theintracellular targets of a number of efficacious anticancer drugs suchas doxorubicin, mitoxantrone, etoposide type of mammal and camptothecin as a resultof a continued efforts of many investigators, especially Leroy Liu andhis collaborators at Johns Hopkins University. Readers will find aseries of chapters written by researchers actively engaged in theexpanding field of topoisomerase type of mammal and their inhibitors. The series ofchapters cover review articles on pharmacology type of mammal and the molecularmechanism of topoisomerase I- type of mammal and II-targeting anticancer drugs inmammals type of mammal and in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which has proved tobe a superb model organism for studies of anticancer drugs. Thisvolume compiles up-to-date information on the topoisomerase-targetingcompounds in clinical type of mammal and preclinical development as a useful andimportant reference book for students type of mammal and researchers in the field ofpharmacology, toxicology, oncology type of mammal and molecular biology.

Bugatti Type 51 - The Type 51 series succeeded the famous Type 35 as Bugatti's premier racing car for the 1930s. Unlike the dominant Type 35s of the prior decade, the Type 51 (and later Type 53, Type 54, and Type 59) were unable to compete with the government-supported German and Italian offerings.

Bugatti Type 49 - The early Bugatti 8-cylinder line began with the 1922 Type 30. The same basic design was used for the 1926 Type 38 as well as the Type 40, Type 43, Type 44, and Type 49.
